On 16 May 2025, Dr. Luo Xinjian, Secretary General of the Secretariat of the Global Green Supply Chains Initiative (GGSC), attended the Regional Training Workshop on CITES Non-detriment Findings (NDF) for Timber Species listed in Appendix II, held in Lomé, the capital of Togo. During the event, she delivered a speech on the practical experiences in green supply chains.

The seminar was co-hosted by the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) and Togo’s Office for the Development and Exploitation of Forests (ODEF), bringing together more than 40 representatives from the forestry authorities, industry associations, and enterprises in West African countries such as Benin, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Libya, and Mali. 

During a conference on Trade and Markets, Dr. Luo Xinjian introduced innovative mechanisms for promoting sustainable forest product trade, under the theme of "Synergistic Development of GGSC and the Global Legal & Sustainable Timber Forum (GLSTF)."
