On January 26, 2024, the Secretariat of Global Green Supply Chains Initiative (GGSC) and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Ecological Transition of Ecuador (Ministerio Ambiente, Agua y Transición Ecológica / MAATE) held an exchange meeting for the cooperation concerning the Global Timber Index (GTI) platform. The head of the GGSC Liaison Department extended welcome to MAATE for joining the GTI platform. Representatives of the GGSC Secretariat provided a detailed introduction to the GTI project and the filling of the GTI questionnaire, and invited MAATE and Ecuadorian companies to attend the Global Legal & Sustainable Timber Forum (GLSTF) 2024.
